Crystals & Resonators
We stock a range of crystals and resonators suitable for a wide range of frequency control applications. These include through hole crystals, resonators and SMD crystals
Crystals are commonly used as an affordable way to create an electrical signal with a very precise frequency that is commonly used as a stable clock frequency for digital circuits and other microprocessors. The most common frequencies are 4 MHz, 10 MHz, 16 MHz and 20 MHz, however other frequencies are also available.
Resonators are primarily made from ceramic that is constructed to vibrate at the given frequency level. Resonators are ideal when a small option is required to minimize the PCB space used.
