If like me you appreciate well designed gadgets this soldering "iron" is for you. Although I called it an iron it looks more like something from Star Wars or Dr Who. It's well made, being able to see the butane tank fill is particularly satisfying. The sellected bit, and there's four supplied, heats literally in seconds, so no work time wasted. The unit is nicely balanced with an essential stand and the well designed cap incorporates a tab to switch the gas supply off. The makers have even added a metal liner to the elegant fitted case to protect against residual heat - a nice touch. The case contains the mentioned cap plus solder, a spare butane jet and a tip sponge. I would have appreciated a small container of resin flux but that may not be required by all purchasers. Would I recommend the butane SolderPro 120k? I certainly would, I think it's an excellent purchase.
