48W Temperature Adjustable Soldering Iron Station

Getting a decent adjustable power soldering station for £14 is good value. Makes a nice starter kit for my nephew. Works well so far, though I accidentally burnt out a tip by leaving it too high for too long without protective solder on the tip. (You don't need it turned up that high.) Would suggest getting a spare C1-4 tip along with this purchase.

I have not used it yet as it was purchased as a spare.It arrived safely and on time. It looks ok although I think a temperature gauge will be missed.

Very impressed with this soldering station, considering how little it cost.
Heats up quickly and the temperature control is effective.
The only negative is that the rubber sleeve moves around a bit on the iron, but that's just a minor thing
Recommended for occasional use
