The Oplà IoT Kit enables you to add connectivity to devices around your home or workplace with eight self-assembled Internet of Things projects. These projects show how to transform everyday appliances into smart devices that can be controlled through your mobile phone. Projects include controlling lights remotely by adjusting color, light modes, and power, setting up a personal weather station to monitor local conditions, and creating a home security alarm to detect motion and trigger alerts. You can also set up a smart garden that monitors and controls plant environments, manage thermostat settings for heating and cooling systems remotely, track items in and out with inventory control, retrieve planetary data with a solar system tracker, and send messages between the Oplà device and the Arduino IoT Cloud.

For more advanced users, the open programmable platform allows the creation of custom connected devices and IoT applications. The Oplà unit acts as a physical interface with the Arduino IoT Cloud, providing complete control via the Arduino IoT Remote app. Users can configure settings and view real-time data from smart devices around the home or workplace on custom dashboards. It is easy to adjust settings, switch devices on or off, water plants, and even automate routines.

The kit includes a 12-month subscription to the Arduino Cloud Maker Plan, which offers unlimited compilation time and premium coding features. The Oplà IoT Kit provides a complete setup for designing and managing smart solutions at home or work.
