Helping Hand Soldering PCB Holder

Great item especially for the price. I bought one then bought more for friends I was that impressed

Purchased to assist with soldering electric motor and battery wires together. Its certainly been a life saver in that regard. Its simple, functional, and does what it's needed to do for a very reasonable price.

Good idea but poorly implemented. The slot arrangement at the base of the clip arms is not rigid enough and allows the arms and clips to move around. It is therefore impossible to maintain the accurate alignment of components to be soldered.

Ok for modern p/c boards but none of the tips big enough to remove enough solder from old valve hard wired systems solder joints which I still enjoy repairing when I can
